1. How can I apply for an MBA?

Graduates or final year passing out students with a valid CAT / XAT or MAT score are eligible to apply for an MBA at IMAS. The Online application form can be filled up. Application Forms can also be availed from IMAS, one of the best MBA colleges in Kolkata, West Bengal - with course fees structure, direct admission, campus in Kolkata, for Rs. 600/-. Payments at the Institute can also be made via Credit / Debit Cards/UPI

2. What are the admission criteria?

For admission into IMAS’ MBA programme in Kolkata, candidates must be final year students or have graduated. Candidates without a valid CAT / XAT or MAT score will need to appear for the IMASAT examination. Final Selection is done after a Personal Interview for all applicants.

3. What is the difference between an MBA and PGP MBA programme?

Most MBA courses focus more on theoretical and technical aspects of management rather than adopting a practical approach. Whereas IMAS’s PGP MBA courses on the other hand, have an industrial orientation and focus on skills-based on market requirements with additional certification by renowned accredited bodies.

4. How do I decide which MBA programme is suited for me?

PGP MBA (Dual Certification) -

The PGP MBA (Dual Certification) is a dual Programme where a student after successful completion of the Programme achieve a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a UGC recognised University and an autonomous industry integrated Post Graduate Programme from IMAS. Along with this Programme students will be provided two NSDC Skill Certificates related to their specialization.

PGP MBA (Triple Certification) -

The PGP MBA (Triple Certification) is a multi-certification Programme where a student after successful completion of the Programme achieve a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a UGC recognised University, Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance from MAKAUT ( through IAER) and an autonomous industry integrated Post Graduate Programme from IMAS. Along with this Programme students will be provided two NSDC Skill Certificates related to their specialization.

MBA International -

This is an International MBA programme where Students of this program will have a dual campus exposure as they will study the first year in Kolkata Campus and the second year in the UK. The second-year study in the UK can also be combined with one year paid internship in the UK, increasing the stay duration in the UK. As you’ll be studying in the UK, you’ll meet many other students from different countries and this will be a good chance to get to know the cultures, habits of different countries and you’ll end up getting an extended international exposure.

5. What is the admission process?

The first step to admissions at IMAS is to fill up the Online Application Form available on our website. Forms can also be availed from IMAS, one of the best B Schools in Kolkata, West Bengal - with course fees structure, direct admission, campus in Kolkata, for Rs. 1000/-. Payments at the Institute can also be made via Credit / Debit Cards. Once filled, you will be required to sit for a IMASAT exam if you have not appeared for any entrance exams. The final step is a Personal Interview, after which your final selection and admission may be confirmed.

6. Which entrance exams do I need to appear in?

At IMAS, one of the TOP MBA colleges in Kolkata, West Bengal, we accept valid CAT / XAT or MAT scores. In case you have not appeared for any of these, you will be required to appear for a IMASAT exam, which is similar to an entrance exam.
